I am the founder of Eventful, the only sustainable event agency in Croatia. I am passionate about shaping tourism and events that leave a positive footprint on people and places. My work is driven by the belief that meaningful experiences can inspire change and strengthen communities, helping the sector grow in balance with the environment and society.

Challenge from Practice

One of the main challenges I encounter is the lack of standardised tools for measuring sustainability in tourism events. While awareness is growing, many SMEs struggle to translate good intentions into measurable action. This matters because without transparent, comparable data, it is challenging to scale sustainable practices or inspire broader industry transformation. At the same time, there is a significant gap in real knowledge and understanding of what sustainability truly means. This is why the educational modules we developed within our certification framework are so important—to turn awareness into practical skills and measurable action."
