Responsible and Diversified Tourism Offerings

Description

With over a 15y of experience in health and social projects in regional government, I have witnessed firsthand how tourism can play a transformative role in enhancing well-being, fostering inclusion, and promoting environmental responsibility. For the past several years, I have been actively involved in developing destination tourism strategies at Smart Octopus Solutions (SOS), where I worked on the creation and implementation of a digital destination card. This innovative tool enhances visitor experiences, strengthens local business networks, and supports sustainable tourism development. As the founder of ZeleniUm, I integrate forest therapy, social work, digitalization, and sustainable tourism practices to create inclusive, regenerative tourism experiences. My focus is on bridging the gap between well-being tourism, social impact, and digital personalization, ensuring that tourism benefits both visitors and local communities. I believe that the future of tourism lies in creating deeply personalized, socially responsible, and ecologically sustainable experiences—and I am committed to making that vision a reality.

"Responsible Tourism Offerings Addressing Seasonality and Social Impact I develop year-round nature-based programs that help destinations mitigate seasonality challenges while fostering community-driven tourism. By designing immersive well-being experiences—such as forest therapy retreats, mindful hiking, and eco-tourism initiatives—I support local economic growth and empower communities to take an active role in sustainable tourism. My approach prioritizes collaborations with local stakeholders, ensuring that tourism benefits extend beyond peak seasons while reinforcing social and environmental responsibility. Management of Visitor Flows and Tourism Offerings With experience in digital tourism innovation, I contributed to the development of a destination card system at Smart Octopus Solutions (SOS), enhancing visitor flow management and creating seamless connections between cultural, wellness, and nature-based tourism offerings. This expertise allows me to design smart, sustainable tourism strategies that balance visitor experience with environmental preservation, ensuring that natural sites remain protected while still being accessible to travelers. Accessible Tourism Services I am dedicated to making nature-based well-being experiences accessible to people with disabilities, elderly travelers, and other vulnerable groups, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the healing benefits of nature. My work includes: Designing inclusive outdoor experiences that accommodate diverse physical, sensory, and cognitive needs, such as barrier-free forest therapy walks, sensory nature trails, and guided well-being retreats. Providing accessibility training for tourism professionals to help destinations improve their inclusive offerings, communication strategies, and visitor engagement for all travelers. "
